THIS IS SO HARD!
I don't understand why it's so hard to lose 1 stinking pound and so easy to gain 4LBS in one weekend. I even stopped myself from eating tater tots off my kid's plate yesterday AND ordered NOTHING when we went to get ice cream last night. Today, I'm up 2+lbs from where I was last time I weighed myself on my home scale. Is anyone else feeling frustrated or is it just me? I'm blaming my birth control pill for water weight gain, which I just started last week (I know, not good timing!).Probably just another excuse to make me feel better. Officially, I'm supposed to weigh in tomorrow, but I'm considering waiting till Saturday to see if I can sweat out some of this extra poundage. Not that you'll want my suggestions, given my lame track record, but I've found a few things worth trying:
Lean Cuisine Panini - 5 or 6 points, depending on the flavor (the Southwest Chicken one is quite yummy)
100 Calorie Balance Bars - 2 points, good take-along snack (rather candy bar like)
Cool Whip Lite with a Diet Root Beer - makes a very low point dessert
I have decided that my biggest problem is blowing off exercise. I WILL set my alarm for 6am tomorrow. No more excuses. I need to get serious here.

Christina.... Thanks for the comment. I guess I should feel happy to gain a few pounds of water weight; in perspective, it's certainly better than 35 lbs!!!
ally, i agree. this is so hard. gaining weight is _so_ much more fun than losing. but losing just feels so much better.
stick it out. you'll lose. just drink a ton of water to help compensate for the pill bloat.
and good for you saying "no" to tater tots. have you looked at the nutritional "value" on that bag? scary.
Ally, you're fabulous! I can't wait to get all of us girlies together for the party I'm going to throw when I win your money...I agree with Stacy - drink tons of water. I did that the day before my WW weigh in, and it worked. Got rid of the sushi/soy sauce water retention just in time.
