Time for Us To Vote
My friend Terry wants in. In her words: "I'm one of your fattest friends. How come you didn't ask me to join?"So here's the question: Do we want another Competitor? Just think ladies: That would make the grand prize $900. Nine Hundred Dollars. Hmmm. That might cover a third of my next car repair. But I'll still take it!
What do you think?
We'd have to be a little creative with the maths so it's fair for her. So, for anyone who is familiar with my mathematical brilliance and just rolled her eyes, let me 'splain how I think it could work:
1. Terry goes to WW early next week for her first weigh in.
2. At the end of our Competition, we determine how much weight Terry lost and divide it by nine to calculate her average weight loss per week during her nine week participation: X/9=Z
3. We add Z to her final weight loss number for her "adjusted" weight loss.
4. We calculate her total percent loss number using first weigh in number and her "adjusted" weight loss number.
Is my math flawed? If not, do you think this is a fair way to add someone? Or are you just not open to winning more money?
Please reply to this post by the end of the weekend and let the group know if Terry should get weighed in next week or not.
Thanks.

I'm not sure if the maths are flawed or not, you lost me with the X and Z and 9 and whatever. Sure, I could use 900 for my trip to Italy! That's funny, Terry didn't get invited to lose weight! I'm happy to take her money!
You know...as I was typing that in I *knew* that I'd lose you at the Z...
You're so pretty, marissa.
I'm not sure that doing this for only 9 weeks puts her at an unfair advantage. All weeks counting friggin points for every morsel I consume is annoying. I'm not sure 9 would make it any better than 10.
At least that's my opinion.
Re: and grand prize and runner up? I'm open to that. Willing to hear what the rest of our Participants think.
We could do a grand prize for biggest percentage lost ($750), and runner up for the other person who has dropped the most pants/dress sizes from their original size (i.e. I'm in a 12 and will be in an 8 when I win). $150 to Macy's so that one of us can fit into a pair of Sevens?
PS to OC: your profile pic isn't showing up...
